Hey guys!

So I turned 21 today, and I don't feel any different. I'm slightly richer today than I was yesterday though. I guess that's a plus :D

Anyway, I've been trying to find time to do some traditional art, but let me tell you, it's almost impossible. I don't even have the time to do photography that does not have to do with school. All the photos I've posted so far are part of a project for my photography class. I feel terrible because I had planned to post a traditional piece today, but I could not find the time to finish it. I will make you all a promise though...I'll post something traditional before the end of November. I know it's a long wait...but with all the school work that I have to do, I honestly have no time to do more than that. So please bare with me.

Now that that's over with, what are your plans for Halloween? What are you all gonna dress up as? I still have to go get my costume.

First: Happy birthday!! Can't believe that a 21 year old (or young?) person can be so amazing an artist!

Second: Your gallery is so amazing and inspiring! Normally I don't tend to draw portraits with coloured pencils, but your gallery combined with a good reference pic I've found, has made me rethink.

My problem is that I'm not very good at blending skin colour. Yes yes I have the one colour called "peach" or "skin", but there are all the shades in the skin, which I really can't catch. Or I can, in some way, but then it ends up like a beautiful rainbow and doesn't look so realistic anymore.

My question is: Do you have any good advices about blending, shading or anything? I would be so thankful!!
